The Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) award represents the highest level of educational achievement in Toastmasters. The requirements to achieve the DTM in the traditional educational format requires the pursuit and drive to complete several different elements that help train a Toastmaster to obtain, fine tune and perfect skills like Public Speaking, Leadership, Confidence, Problem Solving and more.  In the traditional platform, the requirements for DTM include...

  • Earn the Competent Communicator (CC) award.

  • Earn the Competent Leader (CL) award

  • Serve at least six months as a club officer

  • Serve a complete one-year term as a district officer.

  • Serve as a club sponsor, mentor or coach.

  • Participate in the preparation of a Club Success Plan.

  • Earn your Advanced Communicator Gold or Advanced Toastmaster Gold award.

  • Earn your Advanced Leader Silver or Advanced Leader award.
